· Glutathione is involved in the production of hormones such as oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone. We need Glutathione to produce pregnenolone, the precursor of all steroid hormones.
Combat Aging by making sure your Glutathione Levels are Good.
· Glutathione plays a major role in offsetting old age and disease; Without Glutathione we experience oxidative stress where our cells are attacked by free radicals which destroy DNA and skin proteins. Cell damage is one of the underlying causes of breast cancer and other cancers.
· Glutathione helps to detoxify the body by binding and making safe the toxins and chemicals including heavy metals such as lead and mercury. Then safely removing them via the kidney and the gut.
· One of the things that often destroys Glutathione levels is environmental toxins. Pollution, toxic material, stress and sugar hence the importance of trying to live a relatively healthy stress-free life and having seasonal detoxifications.
· Increasing the production of Glutathione is often the treatment for many chronic diseases.
FOODS THAT CONTAIN GLUTATHIONE:
· SULPHUR RICH FOOD: Glutathione can be found in Sulphur rich foods such as asparagus, onions,

Cruciferous vegetables.Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, Kale, Mustard greens, Watercress, Garlic, Onions, Shallots,
Poultry, Fish Beef.

My favourite Eating more Spices Tumeric, Ginger and Curries also helps promote Glutathione....
Antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, such as avocados, and berries fruits apples and bananas. (Hence the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away!)

Selenium Rich Food: Tuna, beef and dairy are high in selenium, while vegan diets can be high in alpha-lipoic acid found in spinach, tomatoes and peas.
Almonds also contain a stack of vitamins and minerals which help the body to build the mineral too.
Probiotics can also help improve gut health and support glutathione production.

Another favourite of mine: use spices such as Tumeric, Ginger and Curries. This will also help to promote Glutathione.
· Antioxidants such as vitamin C, alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin E rely on glutathione to function. Vitamin C and Vitamin E can help boost glutathione levels by protecting it from oxidative damage
Green tea, antioxidants that may help boost glutathione levels
If your immune system is low and you feel that your liver and hormones need extra support…
