Inflammation will affect your immune system, Your liver function, it will mess up healthy Hormone messaging and will even affect your bodies response to allergens!
Inflammation is the cause of so many chronic conditions but not a lot of people realize that healthy fat is so important to the whole metabolic system of the body!
We look at ways to reduce our weight to become more active to eat more fruit and vegetables but still the oil factor is not mentioned enough!
Do you remember the time when the emphasis was to have a low fat diet? So much has happened since to make dietitians change their whole messaging!
Notice my emphasis on Healthy Fat!!!

We are so blessed these days that we have a collective wisdom from all around the world of beautiful oils and fat that have been used in culinary dishes for centuries!
I could go on about the splendour of pomegranate seed oil & Macadamia oil but let's not get carried away here....
Let's keep it simple...
balance between Omega 6 oils & Omega 3 oils:
The emphasis has been for all of us to increase our intake of Omega 3 oils to benefit our heart and brain function!
What I am not hearing enough of though is that Omega 6 is just as important!
According to research, One of the underlying causes of inflammation, is an imbalance in your essential fatty acid intake! In other words, you need a balance between omega 6 and omega 3
Did you know illness appears quickly in people when they are omega 6 deficient!
Surprisingly most of our cells prefer omega 6 which you can obtain from eating tree nuts such as walnuts, macadamia, almonds etc
Examples of healthy cold pressed organic seed oils:
Hemp seed oil, avocado, oil, black cumin, seed, oil, Chia seed, oil, sunflower, oil, sunflower seed oil, sesame oil, flax, seed, oil, pumpkin seed, oil, apricot seed oil, Olive oil.
The key is to go for cold pressed oils
A word of warning: Avoid processed heated or genetically modified oils! When these seeded oils are heated they become toxic and inflammatory!
